James and I are excited to announce that we are expecting our first little baby!! Some of you probably have heard but there is no better way to get news around than through bloggers. We are 3 months along which makes us due October 19th, which is a few days after Ryan is suppose to be getting home. So we are pushing our luck. Today we had a family gathering with the Petersen side of the family, I wore a shirt to try and see who would notice. I had a lot of family telling me that they want spring and that I shouldn't be wearing a shirt that said "Let it Snow" I think the shirt was too tricky. Than we also realized that people were kind of getting it but since you never ask someone if their pregnant, they were all scared to ask. So we finally just announced it. It made for a fun conference Sunday. We are so excited and nervous for this next stage in our family. It has been a year and a half since our miscarriage so we were staring to lose hope, but just when we decided to stop worrying about it we found out we were pregnant. Here is a picture of our first ultrasound. This was taken at 8 weeks. You probably can't see it very well but don't worry I had been looking at it all day and then realized that I had been looking at it wrong. We have our 12 week appointment on Tuesday and I will let you all know how it goes. WAHOO We are so EXCITED!!! :)

How exciting. I knew you guys were trying for quite a while. I just did not know the circumstances. I had a miscarrage too between Katelyn and Cameron. I was hesitant to tell anyone. Man, it feels great when you get past the third month and know that the odds are on your side. Relief!Man, I was just talking about you today and all this stuff too. Man! I am so excited for you!!!! And Ryan is so lucky! He won't miss too much of the little on either. Troy is feeling a little left out. There will have been 4 babies born since he has been gone. Ryan is so lucky. Yeah! Really, congrats! The second tri is the best too!

Congratulations! We are so thrilled for you! We understand the frustrations of miscarriage, and waiting, but it makes you appreciate it so much more don't you think? I'm sure you guys will be great parents. We truly couldn't be happier for you! Good luck with the next 6 months!
