NEW CAR!!!

Well, Its been a busy couple of weeks. I found out where I'll be interning at next year. I'm going to be at Box Elder Middle School. Its in Brigham City, so I'll have to drive through Sardine Canyon a lot. I'm excited and nervous to start applying what I have learned in the Social Work program.
We finally found a car Saturday!! We bought it from a lady in Wellsville (which is close to Logan). Its a 06 and it was a great price. We didn't get all the fun extras, but we got a better quality car for a better price. We are very happy with it and excited to go on road trips now. We drove it to Ogden Saturday night to show it off to my Grandma and Grandpa Larsen, on the way home James said the car was TOO COMFORTABLE, he wanted to fall asleep ( definitely not a good idea while driving). Our car we have been driving is great but it is really run down so we feel spoiled driving the new car around. Heres a few pictures of it! We now own 3 cars, crazy and a little ridiculous, but the old Honda is worth keeping just for the gas mileage compared with the truck. And we can't get rid of the truck because well it's a truck, their handy.

These are just some funny picture's of Diego. He loves chasing lasers and I had him outside at night running so fast chasing the laser that when I brought him in he couldn't keep his tongue in . He even laid down to drink his water. I just thought it was fun!

Easter came fast and we really weren't ready but we had a fun lazy day. We dyed eggs and had a yummy ham dinner. James made his traditional Bronco colored egg and I made a rainbow egg I was quite proud of. As you can tell Diego liked helping! :)

Occupational Hazzard!

Well, James came home from work and asked me if he looked any different. I immediately noticed his eye brow! He hit it with a pry bar working on a car. I think he is pretty proud of it, what do you think? It looks like he is sporting blue eye shadow. Yes its as big as it looks.

Nicole's surgery went well! I talked to her today, and she sounded happy and relieved that it was over. She has a machine that bends her leg that she has to use 6 hours a day for 10 days. We are so proud of her and how tough she had been. Keep getting better Nicole!!

Nicole's Knee

I just wanted to up date you all on Nicole's Lacrosse injury. They received a phone call from her doctor saying that she has torn her ACL and meniscus. Because of my moms up coming surgery she was able to get an early appointment for surgery. She is having surgery tomorrow morning at 9:15am. She is excited and optimistic about being able to start her recovery. Please keep her in your prayers and I will keep you posted on how she is doing. Oh and
HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY !

Lots of random Info

Well its been a while since I updated our blog, so I figured I better get to it. We really haven't had much going on, just the same old work and school. We did get new callings so we taught our last primary class today. We are the new cub scout leaders for the Bears. I think we have 6 or 7 boys. It should be fun, I'm a little nervous just because I haven't done anything with scouts before and I really have no idea what we are suppose to do. We have some cute boys and they are excited to finally have their own leaders. Our ward couldn't find people to be cub scout leaders so there has been two women in the ward doing the whole program themselves. We are the last position they needed filled so the program can actually run like it's suppose to now. Anyway I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
Saturday we had a primary activity. They had all the kids dresses up like Nephites and Lamanites. Each class picked a story to act out and they videoed the performances. In a few months they are going to get everyone back together and watch the movie for another activity. Here are a few picts of the Stripling Warriors Battle scenes. It was fun to watch them all in their costumes, it was cute.
Other than all that we have been looking to buy a new car so here are a few pictures of the car we have been looking at, and a goofy picture of James sitting in it. Its a 06 Hyundai SonataAlso Nicole hurt her knee playing in her first Varsity lacrosse game, and found out she had torn her ACL and possibly her meniscus. She's pretty sad about being out the season but she is handling it very well. Her surgery looks pretty invasive, at least more than I though it would be. It is amazing what they can do! Also Larissa's church basketball team won in their regional tournament, so here's a shout out to SouthGlenn II Girls Congrats !! One last thing, James and I like to go to the DI and buy stuffed animals for Diego to destroy. We went last weekend and found the saber tooth tiger "Diego" from the Movie Ice Age. It just happens to be his name sake as well. Heres some picts of him with his toy, I just thought it was funny. And thats really it this time, I hope all is going well for all of you.
