Cub Scout Halloween Treats
This last week for scouts I made these cute Spider cupcakes I found on the Family Fun Website. The boys loved them and I thought they were a great Idea for Halloween. Yes I was proud of them so they got a whole background for their picture debut.

Heres the whole family of spiders. Aren't they cute!

Conference Weekend
Well, James and I went down to the Petersen's for Conference Breakfast!
We had a lot of fun and watched most of Conference. Heres a picture of some of the little cousins. They were videoing themselves and then would laugh and laugh when they watched it later. Here they are watching it.
My Grandma had just gotten back from a site seeing trip to Greece and lots of other countries. Heres my great uncle Willie looking at a book she brought back.
Now to finish on a fun note. Here is one of the boys just being a boy. They were so fun. Conference really was good and I loved the talks on being Patriotic and honoring Marriage I know thats a huge subject right now. If any of you are interested go to youtube and type in The BEST GIFT and you'll see a black screen with white writing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmZaHbGgXH8
I'm not sure if this link will work but I couldn't figure out how to post the video on my blog.
It's a political add created to protest marriage not between a man and woman. Its very nicely done and I think its very important to know where we stand so we can stand tall, and be a beacon to the world!

UTAH STATE VS. BYU
Well this post is old, but we went to the Utah State vs. BYU game a couple weeks ago. We had such a fun time. I was going to make this a nasty anti-BYU post but I have lost all of my adrenalin that I had more around game time. SO sorry everyone who waited for the crushing post. Anyway the game was awesome. As you know BYU was ranked 8th and Utah State is terrible. But man they came to play Saturday. The final score was 14-34. and for an 8th ranked team lets just say they played awful. Lets just say it's fun to be the underdogs, you can talk as much crap as you want and if you loose thats alright you were suppose to, but if you win YEA! You had a huge upset. Anyway it was really fun and we enjoyed the banter between the BYU fans.
Little Rupert
This tiny deer was delivered by Cesarean section at a wildlife hospital
after his mother was killed by a car.
Little Rupert, who is so small he can fit in an adult's hand, was born after vets failed in their battle to save his mother.
At just six inches tall and weighing just over a pound, he is now in an incubator in the intensive care unit at Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in Buckinghamshire.
He has only recently opened his eyes. I did find the article on Rupert, and his story is true. He was placed with a foster mom, but he didn't make it through the night.

Sweet Heart Tag
This one is kinda fun!! I'm sure He'll Love the Picture ;) It's just so much of his personality I had to put it in.
1) Where did you meet? We met through a mutual friend (Beaver), and we went on our first official date to a corn maze and got crazy muddy!
2) How long did you date before you got married? 10 months.
3) How long have you been married? 3 years
4) What is your favorite feature of his? The smile he has when he can't think of what to say when I shock him with something I've said.
5) What is your favorite quality of his? His genuine kind heart and his country boy personality.
6) Does he have a nickname for you? Shay, and squirt (but I hate squirt)
7) What is his favorite food? Steak and Potatoes, "What else do you need?"
8) What is his favorite sport?Football
9) When and where was your first kiss? Our first kiss was pretty quick after we met, (ya we moved fast) and it was in my apt. My favorite kiss was up Logan canyon while dancing in the rain (ahhh)
10) What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love camping and spending our time together. We also both love watching sports!
11) Do you have any children? Not yet ;) (not for a lack of trying:P )
12) Does he have a hidden talent? he has this incredible ability to remember everything! He know all my extended family by name and thats like over 100 people. Anything with numbers is put to memory. Birthdays, Anniversaries,
13) How old is he? He is 28 (old man) :)
14) Who said "I love you" first? I did, I was actually a slip, but after a few awkward minutes, actually a few awkward days he finally returned the favor and we both said it to each other.
15) What is his favorite type of music? James loves Country! Especially George Strait, and the occasional Kid Rock. He use to be more crazy, but he has calmed down (music wise)
16) What do you admire the most about him? His hard work and his positive attitude. He always has the ability to lift me up out of my slumps, and he can always put the right spirit in any situation.
17) Do you think he will read this? Yea he likes to read my blog updates.
I tag Seri, Adri, and Beth
